I know, I know, I just posted a song by these guys yesterday. It's okay, really. This is the band's most recent track, and I have to say, I can't get enough of it! I love the variety of instruments used, from piano to electric guitar to a multi-part vocal harmony, to a LEGITIMATE SAX SOLO. I don't even know how to handle that part. I've played tenor sax for almost six years now, so to hear such an amazing, authentic saxophone solo is a sublime treat for me. You know my face lit up when I heard that part. Anyways, the whole song is expertly crafted, as usual. I love the urban-flavored beats backing the main verses, giving it just enough of a touch of hip-hop swagger. Between the beats, the high-pitched piano and the cryptic yet beautiful lyrics, The Royal Concept has wrought a truly great installment for indie rock. I know, by every feel of this song, that is going to blow up in a very good way for the band. Expect to hear this song in commercials, school announcements, the radio--everywhere! But don't forget: you heard it here first! ;) Enjoy!
