For those of you who have been following this blog for a while, you probably know that I have an obsession with Mirror's Edge. It's no lie, my friends. There are innumerable things that I love about Mirror's Edge, but one aspect stands above all others for me: the soundtrack. As I have stated in a previous post, Solar Fields' work on the soundtrack has become a modern cornerstone in the history of game music as well as soundscape creation as a whole. That said, you can only imagine my reaction when i heard that a sequel (technically prequel) for Mirror's Edge is officialy in the works. What's more, from what it sounds like, Solar Fields will be be the lead creator for the game's soundtrack. I am beyond excited, and I cannot wait to hear his beautiful work in the sequel. In the meantime, please sit back and enjoy this amazing remix for Mirror's Edge 2's trailer song by one of my favorite electronic artists, Nightparis! Expect to see many posts featuring him here in the future, because he has a lot of musical talent and fresh style going for him. This was the first song by him that I heard, and I knew from the start that I was going to love his work. Enjoy!
